As part of the Avoidable Deaths Network (ADN) Global Campaign 2025, this webinar will explore the transformative potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in reducing avoidable deaths. We will examine real-world applications where AI is helping to prevent deaths from disasters, health crises, and other emergencies—focusing on how technology can bridge gaps, empower vulnerable communities, and save lives.

SPEAKERS
Mr. Siddharth Vidyadhar

Siddharth is a Junior Fellow at DebateSpaces Academy, teaching debate, and a Schoolhouse.world tutor, covering topics like complex numbers and polynomial arithmetic. He is collaborating with the Avoidable Deaths Network (ADN) to develop an app helping Global South farmers access market data and combat farmer suicides, and is also creating an AI-powered tutoring platform for people with dyscalculia.
Dr. Madhulika Sahoo

Madhulika Sahoo is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Anthropology, as well as the Director of Student Welfare and a Syndicate Member of Kalahandi University in India. She works closely with Dr. Nibedita Ray-Bennett to develop and create user-friendly resources to raise awareness of avoidable disaster deaths globally. Since 2019, she has been a dedicated Regional Coordinator for ADN India and now serves as Managing Editor.
